Although our mill is owned by both my husband, Tom and I, I tend to be the driving force. LOL If you know me that comes as no surprise.
learning and doing
Having a mill has been a dream of mine for years. As I was preparing myself for my dream to come true I did as much hand spinning and in as many different styles as I could. All my fiber prep was done in my kitchen sink. Oh man what a chore. I have completed 2 years of the Master Spinners program from Olds Collage in Canada. I have been a member of several spinners and weavers guilds and have started a local fiber group.

My love for fiber started at a young age. I started with crocheting and progressed to knitting, weaving, spinning and felting. LOL There's always a new layer of this "craft" to explore. With 40+ years of working with fiber under my belt I have a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to produce a quality product that every hand spinner will love working with.
